Alison Thirion
Alison discovered ceramics in 2015 and chose clay as a means of expression, in volume and color. Inspired by the arts, the urban landscape as well as the link between the object and the body, she makes by hand and in small series in her Landes workshop. Her creations are part of a relative timelessness, putting the traditional technique of the potter's wheel at the service of contemporary forms. The lines are architectural and graphic, the color posed in monochrome. In a game of construction and perception, Alison questions the use of the object by shaping singular pieces, between utilitarian and sculptures.
