Claire Schott has been making stoneware or porcelain ceramics in her Landes workshop since 2022. Contemporary pottery, marked by the ancestral gestures of the pottery tradition, shaped on the wheel, by hand. She works, deforms, removes or adds clay. From this research emerges a set of ceramics for the table: different, random, unique pieces, which can be matched or mismatched to make them dialogue with each other.

Tribe is a permanent collection bringing together the work of European ceramists with whom I wanted to collaborate. I offer a selection of artisanal ceramics to which I am sensitive, carefully selected and shipped from my workshop.
