How are my ceramics made?

Each of the ceramics you will find on my store is entirely handcrafted in France by my handsI need one to two weeks between the moment I start making a piece and the moment it is finished.

What is the usual lead time for made to order pieces?

My ceramics are produced and shipped within 4 weeks from the date of your purchase. This allows me to manage and organize my production, firings, and shipments optimally. I only produce what I sell, which allows me to minimize costs and manufacture more sustainably. You will receive an email when your parcel will be on its way.

Are my pieces suitable for food use?

All my stoneware tableware is suitable for food use. I use glazes that I make myself from natural raw materials and without any toxic ingredients.

Can my ceramics go in the dishwasher and microwave?

All my ceramic tableware can be put in the dishwasher as well as the microwave. Simply avoid thermal shock which could weaken the pieces.

Will my order be well packaged?

I pack your orders very carefully so that they can be delivered to you safely and unbroken. All my parcels are protected by an insurance so that I can refund you in case of loss or damage. My packaging material is made from 100% biodegradable corn starch.

Do you ship anywhere in the world?

Yes ! All my packages are shipped from France. Deliveries are ensured by Colissimo for France and Europe. For more distant destinations I work with Colissimo and their local partners for single parcel shipments, and DHL or UPS for shipments of 2 or more parcels. Please note, customs fees may apply for countries outside Europe. I am not responsible for these and they will be your responsibility.

What are the delivery times ?

My ceramics are produced and shipped within 4 weeks from the date of your purchase. I cannot guarantee delivery times once the package has been shipped but here are the generally observed times:

- France: 2 working days
- Europe 3 to 5 working days
- International: 7 working days

These delays may vary depending on the carrier.

Can I exchange or return my order?

If you are not satisfied with your item, you can return your purchase intact and unused within 14 days after receipt of your package (the delivery date indicated by the carrier is taken as proof).

The customer is responsible for shipping and customs fees associated with returning an item that arrives undamaged. Initial shipping costs will not be refunded. If you wish to exchange your parts, I will first refund the returned parts and you can place a new order.

If the refund request is due to an item arriving damaged, you will need to send me photos of the item as well as the cardboard within 48 hours of receipt of your package.

Returned merchandise must be unused and in its original packaging. You must ensure that fragile products arrive intact; Any merchandise arriving damaged, chipped or broken cannot be refunded. If you would like to return an item, please contact me at hello@eleaceramics.com
